There are people in this community who do not just ride — they dedicate themselves to keeping the spirit of Indian Motorcycle alive in every way they can. Michel Labbé is one of them.
Since 2017, Michel has been publishing Légende Cycle — an independent Indian Motorcycle magazine built entirely on passion, written by enthusiasts for enthusiasts, and driven by a single conviction: that a true love of motorcycling cannot be explained. It can only be felt.
Michel is also IMRGlobal’s Canadian Ambassador, and when you read his own words about why he started the magazine, you understand immediately why he was the right person for that role.
“She saw herself in the rumble of an engine starting up, in the smell of hot petrol, in the metal polished by the miles and in those roads that call, again and again.”
That is not corporate language. That is a rider talking.

What Légende Cycle Is
Légende Cycle is an independent editorial space — no advertisers pulling the strings, no manufacturer agenda, no compromise. It exists for one reason only: to celebrate the Indian Motorcycle community, preserve the spirit of the brand, and promote a rich, vibrant motorcycle culture that respects its roots.
Inside every issue you will find articles written with rigour and authenticity, exclusive interviews with passionate figures from across the industry, mini-reports and video content rooted in real riding experiences, fragments of motorcycle history and culture, and independent advice and analysis that puts the rider first. And running through all of it, as Michel puts it, that invisible link that unites every one of us — the Indian passion.
Légende Cycle is a non-profit project. Michel does not do this for money. He does it because the community deserves a voice that is honest, independent, and built from genuine love of the brand.
Eight Years and Still Going
Since 2017 the magazine has grown steadily, with more readers sharing their impressions, contributing their stories, and adding new pages to what Michel describes as a legend being written together. Each season, each article, each exchange between riders is part of that story.
It is, in many ways, everything IMRGlobal believes in — independent, rider-first, community-built, and utterly without corporate interference. Which is exactly why Légende Cycle will be featured on IMRGlobal’s upcoming Links page — a curated directory of the independent voices, resources, and communities that matter to Indian Motorcycle riders around the world. When we find something genuinely worth sharing with our global family, we share it. This is one of those things.
Riders Helping Riders
The partnership between IMRGlobal and Légende Cycle reflects something broader that we are building here. This community has always been at its best when riders help riders — sharing knowledge, experience, and honest advice without agenda.
That belief sits at the heart of something new we are developing at IMRGlobal. Alongside the Links page, we are building a dedicated Help section on the website — a practical resource for Indian Motorcycle owners who are experiencing issues with their bikes and need guidance from people who actually know these machines. Not dealers with a service bill in mind. Not forums full of guesswork. Real, experienced mechanics and knowledgeable riders from within our own global community, able to offer practical support to owners who need it.
We have experienced mechanics on our platform across multiple countries. We are working to bring that knowledge together in a structured, accessible way so that any rider — whether they are in a city with a dealership on the doorstep or in a region with no local support for a hundred miles — can get honest, informed help when they need it.
If you are an experienced Indian Motorcycle mechanic and want to be part of that, get in touch. And if you are a rider with a question that has gone unanswered, watch this space. Help is coming.
