Affiliated Dealership: Crockett Powersports
IMRG Chapter 1985 represents the Indian Motorcycle Riders Group community based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, operating in partnership with Crockett Powersports, the area’s authorised Indian Motorcycle dealership.
The chapter reflects what a strong dealership-supported riders group can achieve — organised rides, active participation, and a clear regional identity. Their recently updated chapter patch incorporates Tennessee state elements and local landscape references alongside the official Indian Motorcycle Riders Group insignia, reinforcing both brand pride and local roots.

Crockett Powersports
Crockett Powersports serves as more than a dealership. It acts as a central hub for Indian Motorcycle owners in the region, supporting Chapter 1985 with structured ride programs, events, and rider engagement throughout the season.

Host of the Jack Daniel’s Owner’s Ride
Chapter 1985 is widely recognised for hosting what is considered the largest Indian-sponsored event in the United States — the Jack Daniel’s Owner’s Ride.
The official invitation is posted via Indian Motorcycle’s Jack Daniel’s channels, and anyone can sign up regardless of what type of motorcycle they ride. Demand for the ride is consistently high and places are capped at 750 riders. Once the event reaches capacity, further registrations are placed on a waiting list.
The ride has become a significant date on the American riding calendar. Combining strong dealership organisation, brand support, and the distinctive Tennessee setting, it has grown into one of the most prominent gatherings associated with Indian Motorcycle in the United States.
Few IMRG chapters host an event of this scale.

Riding Region
Chattanooga offers exceptional riding opportunities throughout the southeastern United States:
- Appalachian foothill routes
- Scenic mountain roads
- Tennessee Valley river runs
- Access to Georgia, Alabama, and North Carolina
The varied terrain and open road networks make the region ideal for both touring and performance-focused Indian models, and Chapter 1985 makes full use of that landscape.

Facebook Group Relaunch
The chapter has recently relaunched its official Facebook page.
If you previously followed IMRG 1985 — or if you are an Indian Motorcycle owner in the Chattanooga area looking to connect — this is now the active group for ride updates, event announcements, and chapter information.
