Indian Motorcycle Strengthens UK Team as It Accelerates into 2026

Indian Motorcycle UK is building momentum ahead of 2026 with a series of key appointments aimed at strengthening dealer support and supporting the recruitment of new dealerships, as the brand enters its 125th anniversary year.

Joining Robert Gregory, District Sales Manager, is James Tonks, who brings nearly two decades of experience across technical, dealership, and network support roles within the motorcycle and powersports industries, having worked in the sector since 2007. His appointment reinforces Indian Motorcycle UK’s focus on hands-on dealer engagement and network development.

Also joining the team is Gina Evans, appointed as Marketing Specialist. Gina brings more than 20 years’ experience from her time at the MCIA, where she led marketing, membership, and communications activities, including the promotion and management of Motorcycle Live following its rebrand under the MCL banner.

“Representing such a legendary brand as Indian Motorcycle is a real privilege,” said Tonks. “I’ve already had the pleasure of meeting owners at the national rally in Cornwall, and their passion for Indian Motorcycle is infectious. I’m looking forward to working with Rob and the network as we implement plans to strengthen and expand our presence in the UK market over the coming months.”

Evans added:

“Having been part of promoting motorcycling through my role at the MCIA, the opportunity to move to a manufacturer — especially one as rich in history, stories, and style as Indian Motorcycle — was impossible to ignore. Joining at a time when the brand is celebrating its founding in 1901 makes it even more exciting, and I’m really looking forward to being part of the next chapter.”

The refreshed UK team will kick off the 2026 season at Motorcycle Live (MCL) at the NEC Birmingham, 15–23 November, where Indian Motorcycle will showcase the new 2026 lineup, welcome Indian Motorcycle dealers and Riding Groups, and open discussions with prospective new dealer partners.

IMRGlobal Perspective

From an IMRGlobal standpoint, these appointments represent a positive and necessary step as Indian Motorcycle heads into its 125th anniversary year. Strengthening dealer support, improving communication, and rebuilding confidence at network level will be critical if the brand is to convert heritage, performance, and community passion into long-term stability and growth in the UK.

Experienced, industry-rooted appointments signal intent. The real measure, as always, will be how these changes translate into consistent dealer experience, clearer engagement, and renewed confidence for riders across the UK and wider EMEA region.
