September 3–6, 2026
Durango, Colorado, USA
The Four Corners Motorcycle Rally returns to Durango, Colorado from September 3rd to 6th, 2026, continuing a tradition that has become one of the longest-running motorcycle rallies in the state.
Founded by U.S. Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell, a passionate motorcyclist and advocate for rider culture, the rally was created to bring motorcyclists together while highlighting the unique landscapes and communities of Southwest Colorado. Over more than three decades, the event has grown from a small grassroots gathering into a recognised destination rally attracting riders from across the United States.
Now entering its 32nd year, the rally combines scenic touring, entertainment, and community engagement, while maintaining its focus on the freedom and culture of motorcycling.
Riding the Four Corners Region
A major draw of the rally is its location in the heart of the Four Corners region, where Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico meet. Durango sits at the gateway to some of the most dramatic riding terrain in North America, making the rally as much about the journey as the event itself.
One of the most famous nearby routes is the Million Dollar Highway, a section of U.S. Route 550 known for its mountain passes, sharp switchbacks, and sweeping views through the San Juan Mountains. Along with the San Juan Skyway and surrounding desert and mountain routes, the area offers riders an exceptional mix of technical roads and scenic touring.
Durango itself provides a welcoming base for the rally, with a historic downtown, local restaurants, breweries, and access to outdoor activities throughout the surrounding region.

Event Highlights
The rally programme typically includes a range of motorcycle and community-focused activities including:
- Live music and entertainment
- Motorcycle displays and vendors
- Organised scenic rides
- Community gatherings throughout Durango
In 2026 the rally will also feature AMA-sanctioned motorcycle racing at the La Plata County Fairgrounds Arena, bringing competitive racing action to the event. Riders participating in the races must hold a current AMA membership.
The rally’s rodeo-style events return as well, including motorcycle barrel racing, bull poker, and other competitions held at the fairgrounds.

Community and Charity
Alongside the rally programme, Four Corners Motorcycle Rally has developed a strong tradition of supporting community organisations and charitable causes. Over the years the event has partnered with groups including Building Homes for Heroes, the Women’s Resource Center of Durango, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Toys for Tots, and the Southern Ute Boys and Girls Club.
Through these partnerships the rally contributes to local initiatives supporting veterans, youth, families, and Indigenous communities across the region.
