Calne Bike Meet™ 2026 – Saturday 25th July
Calne Bike Meet™ is a standout event in the motorcycling calendar, uniquely held in the heart of Calne on open public roads. For one day each year, the Wiltshire town centre is transformed into a vibrant celebration of two-wheeled machinery, creating an atmosphere unlike any other bike meet. Free to attend, the event brings together motorcyclists, local residents and visitors, encouraging the whole community to get involved.
Following a highly successful 2025 event, Calne Bike Meet™ will return on Saturday 25th July 2026. As always, the meet takes place on the last Saturday in July – a date firmly established in many bikers’ calendars.
Bikes begin arriving from around 8am, filling the streets with every variation imaginable – from vintage classics and custom builds to modern sports bikes and touring machines. The first live band takes to the stage at approximately 10am, with music continuing throughout the day until around 6pm. When the final notes fade, many venues in and around the town continue the celebrations well into the evening, offering visitors the chance to make the most of their time in Calne. The first Calne Bike Meet was held in 2000, when two local motorcycle enthusiasts joined forces with two charity organisers from Calne Rotary to invite a small number of local motorcycle clubs into the town. Although the event began modestly, it quickly grew in both size and reputation, becoming recognised locally, nationally and beyond. After 12 successful years, responsibility for organising the event passed to a dedicated volunteer committee. Today, that committee works closely with local clubs, bands and traders to deliver an inclusive event with something for everyone.
Calne Bike Meet™ is not only a popular day out but also a force for good. As a not-for-profit event, funds raised (after costs) are donated to charities that support motorcyclists and members of the local community. Charity nominations are welcomed at the event’s AGM, which is an open public meeting, offering transparency and an opportunity to see how the event makes a meaningful difference.
