UK-wide & Worldwide
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) unites classic and vintage-styled motorcycle riders from around the world, all riding side by side on the same day, to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health.
Riders take to the streets dressed in their finest attire, celebrating motorcycle heritage while supporting vital causes that affect men globally.
Origins of the Ride
The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride was founded in Sydney, Australia, by Mark Hawwa.
It was inspired by a photograph of Don Draper from the TV show Mad Men, seated on a classic motorcycle wearing a sharp suit. From this idea, Mark created a themed ride to:
- Connect niche motorcycle communities
- Celebrate classic and vintage motorcycle culture
- Raise funds for men’s health on a global scale

What Makes the DGR Special
