Indian Motocycle Riders Global™ (IMRGlobal™) is an independent, rider-led global community organisation. IMRGlobal™ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Indian Motorcycle LLC, Carolwood LP, Polaris Industries Inc., or any manufacturer, brand owner, or dealership. IMRGlobal™ is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and its associated platforms. Principal Office: Lodge 1, The Lighthouse, Wadebridge, Cornwall, England, PL27 7RE.
2. What Personal Data We Collect and Why
IMRGlobal™ collects personal data only where there is a lawful basis for doing so and only to the extent necessary for the purpose stated. The following sets out what we collect, why, and the lawful basis under UK GDPR.
Shop Orders — Lawful Basis: Contract
When you place an order through the IMRGlobal™ Shop, we collect the following in order to process and dispatch your order:
- Full name
- Billing address
- Shipping address
- Email address
- Telephone number (if provided)
- Order details and purchase history
Payment information is processed securely by third-party payment providers. IMRGlobal™ does not store full card or payment card details.
Payment Processing — Lawful Basis: Contract
Payments are processed via Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. These providers process payment data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable data protection law. IMRGlobal™ shares only the minimum data necessary with payment processors to complete your transaction.
Newsletter Subscription — Lawful Basis: Consent
If you subscribe to the IMRGlobal™ newsletter, we collect your email address and, if provided, your name. Newsletter distribution is managed through MailerLite. Your data is stored and processed in accordance with MailerLite’s privacy standards. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Contact Forms and Direct Emails — Lawful Basis: Legitimate Interest
If you contact IMRGlobal™ by email or via a contact form, we retain your name, email address, and the content of your correspondence for as long as it is relevant to your enquiry or any ongoing matter. This is necessary to respond to your enquiry and to maintain a record of communications.
World Map Submissions — Lawful Basis: Legitimate Interest
Where individuals or businesses submit details directly to the IMRGlobal™ World Map via the add location function, the information submitted will be displayed publicly on the World Map. IMRGlobal™ stores submitted information solely for the purpose of maintaining the map directory. Submitted information is not shared with any third party beyond its public display on the map.
Any individual or business wishing to have their listing removed may contact info@imrglobalofficial.com and it will be removed promptly. Further details on World Map listings, including rights of removal and the disputes policy, are set out in the IMRGlobal™ By Laws and Terms of Use and Sale.
Publicly Available Information — Lawful Basis: Legitimate Interest
The IMRGlobal™ World Map may also display information sourced from publicly available platforms, including Facebook, business websites, and other publicly accessible sources, such as group or business names, locations, and publicly displayed profile images. IMRGlobal™ does not alter, commercialise, or misrepresent any such information. Any party wishing to have publicly sourced information removed from the map should contact info@imrglobalofficial.com.
Website Comments — Lawful Basis: Legitimate Interest
If you leave a comment on the IMRGlobal™ website, WordPress may collect the data shown in the comments form, your IP address, and your browser user agent. This information is used for spam detection and site security purposes only.
Cookies and Technical Data — Lawful Basis: Legitimate Interest / Consent
Our website may use cookies for site functionality, login sessions, shopping cart functionality, and basic analytics. Some embedded content, including YouTube and Facebook links, may set third-party cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings. - Contract: To process and dispatch Shop orders, communicate about purchases, and issue invoices or delivery updates.
- Consent: To send newsletters and community updates to subscribers. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate Interest: To protect the security of our website, respond to enquiries, maintain internal records, improve our website and services, and operate the World Map directory for the benefit of the Indian Motorcycle riding community.

IMRGlobal™ does not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties except where necessary for the following purposes, and only to the minimum extent required:
- Payment processors: Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, to process Shop transactions.
- MailerLite, to distribute the IMRGlobal™ newsletter to subscribers.
- Postal and delivery services, to dispatch Shop orders.
- Website hosting providers, for the operation and security of the IMRGlobal™ website.
All third-party providers are required to handle personal data in accordance with applicable data protection law.
5. International Data Transfers
As a global organisation, some of our service providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where this occurs, IMRGlobal™ ensures that providers operate under recognised data protection frameworks and appropriate safeguards, in accordance with UK GDPR requirements for international transfers.

- Newsletter subscription data: Retained until you unsubscribe or request removal.
- Contact enquiries: Retained for as long as the matter remains relevant, after which records are deleted.
- World Map submission data: Retained for as long as the listing is active. Removed promptly upon request.
- Website comment data: Retained for as long as the comment remains published, or deleted upon request.
Where legally required, certain financial records may be retained for statutory periods regardless of any request for deletion.
8. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR and applicable data protection law, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:
- The right to request access to the personal data IMRGlobal™ holds about you.
- The right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- The right to request deletion of your personal data, where legally permissible.
- The right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest.

Content shared to IMRGlobal™ Facebook groups or social media platforms is subject to the terms of those platforms as well as the IMRGlobal™ Terms of Use and Sale. The IMRGlobal™ community content and image sharing policy is set out in Article 4 of the Terms of Use and Sale.
11. Children’s Privacy
The IMRGlobal™ website and Shop are not directed at children under the age of 16. IMRGlobal™ does not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal data to IMRGlobal™ without appropriate consent, please contact info@imrglobalofficial.com and we will take steps to delete that data promptly.
12. Updates to This Policy
IMRGlobal™ may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or the services we provide. All updates will be dated and versioned.
