Ladson, South Carolina, USA
Meet-up from 10:00 AM
Join the riding community for a special charity ride with Pat Cornell, widely known as the Vroom Old Man. This all-bikers-welcome event is part of Pat’s ongoing mission to raise awareness and funding for Myotonic Dystrophy, a progressive neuromuscular disease that affects thousands of individuals and families.

Pat is a long-distance endurance rider, Navy veteran, retired firefighter, and 9/11 first responder who captured national attention through his record-setting rides for Myotonic Dystrophy awareness. His mission did not end with a single challenge — it continues today, with Pat riding toward an extraordinary 200,000-mile year, currently with around 40,000 miles still to complete before April 30, 2026. The goal is urgent, as completing the ride will allow him to finally undergo much-needed shoulder surgery.

This February ride brings riders together not just for the miles, but for a cause rooted in awareness, research, and community support. Riding alongside IMRG Low Country and fellow bikers from all backgrounds, the event highlights the strength of the motorcycle community when it comes together for something bigger than itself.

Pat’s fundraising efforts are still underway, with a significant gap remaining to reach the target. Every rider, donation, and shared message helps shine a light on the debilitating effects of Myotonic Dystrophy and supports the search for better treatments and a cure.
All bikes welcome. Ride with purpose. Ride for awareness.
