Laconia Motorcycle Week — Laconia, New Hampshire 13–21 June 2026

Laconia, New Hampshire 13–21 June 2026

When riders talk about the great American motorcycle rallies, three names come up every time — Daytona, Sturgis, and Laconia. But of the three, only Laconia can claim to be the oldest. Its roots stretch back to the summer of 1916, when a Gypsy Tour gathered for several days at Weirs Beach on the southern shores of Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire. By 1917, it was official. Over a century later, Weirs Beach is still the heart and soul of it all.

Now in its 103rd year, Laconia Motorcycle Week runs nine days across the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, drawing riders from across the country and beyond to one of the most naturally beautiful rally settings in America. Lake Winnipesaukee, the White Mountains, and the winding back roads of New England provide a riding landscape that rewards every style — from long touring days through the Kancamagus Highway to relaxed coastal cruises and everything in between.

The week opens on Saturday June 13th with the Peter Makris Memorial Ride, a beloved charity ride around Lake Winnipesaukee that sets the tone for everything that follows. Racing is woven into Laconia’s DNA — the 103rd Annual Loudon Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway headlines the programme, with FIM North American Vintage Road Races running across the first weekend and the full Super Bike races closing out the week. The Tower Street Hill Climb Exposition and the AMA-Sanctioned Pro-Amateur Hill Climb at Gunstock Mountain Resort add to the spectacle.

Away from the racing, the Weirs Beach boardwalk buzzes for the full nine days — bike shows, swap meets, poker runs, gypsy tours, vendors, live music, and the easy camaraderie of a rally that has been perfecting its welcome since 1916. Local restaurants, bars, and businesses across the Lakes Region lean into the week, making the whole area feel like part of the event rather than just a backdrop to it.

Laconia has always been about more than the motorcycles. It is about the roads, the lakes, the hills, and the people who keep coming back year after year because no other rally quite feels like this one.
