IMRGlobal Wales presents:
Castle Poker Challenge 2026
April 24th – 26th
Across Wales
Get ready for a weekend of epic scenery, ancient castles, and unforgettable riding.
IMRGlobal Wales invites you to our first official event – a unique Castle Poker Run, where the roads are legendary, and the history is built in stone.
A three-day, self-guided riding challenge across Wales, combining iconic castles, incredible roads, and a tactical points-based game, designed to be as relaxed or as competitive as you choose.
How the Challenge Works
- Riders will receive points for every castle visited.
- Each castle carries a specific point value.
- Point values will be given at the start of the event.

Meet-Up to kick off the challenge:
To bring everyone together there will be an informal meet-up on the Friday at 7pm, and a formal meet-up on the Saturday at 9am in the car park at the rear of The Elan Hotel, West Street, Rhayader LD6 5AF. Rhayader is pretty central, and a great starting point.
You will be given the point scoring system, then you can work out a plan of attack.
From here you will decide which castles and in what order you will visit them. Will you go North? South? There is no way to visit all the castles on the list in 2 days, let alone 2 (In our opinion), so plan to gain points, or plan to see specific castles and hope your point values work to win!
*Bonus points info will be given in the car park*
With castles spread across Wales:
- Some riders may stay in one base.
- Others may move accommodation.
- Groups and solo riders can plan freely.
Rhayader is located in a beautiful part of Wales, so even if you’re only doing the Staurday and Sunday, consider arriving on the Friday and make it a long weekend. I’m sure both the Friday and Saturday nights will be great fun after a long day on the bike!!
