According to public announcements, the transfer of the brand — including the Spirit Lake factory, design centres, and approximately 900 employees — is expected to be completed in early 2026, with Polaris retaining only a minority share. Leadership changes have also been confirmed, including the appointment of Mike Kennedy, a long-time Harley-Davidson executive, as the incoming CEO of Indian Motorcycle under Carolwood ownership.
